Opportunities to find deeper powers
within ourselves come when life seems
most challenging.
Joseph Campbell
Lifestyle patterns may inhibit achievement of balance and health. To begin a huge shift in lifestyle, one must almost always begin in the home. This is where Feng Shui comes in.
Feng Shui translated from Chinese to English means “wind” and “water." When you closely observe these elements in nature, you experience a “flow." In Feng Shui the main objective would be the placement of furniture and adjustment objects to enhance the general flow and balance of the space. Just as our bodies seek to achieve an optimal balance, our lives thrive when we achieve a balance within the home.
Feng Shui can work to shift deeply rooted energetic patterns that create problems within our lives. Our homes are reflections of ourselves. Once a client chooses to shift their surroundings to reflect the life they want, the change is also mirrored within.
Priya’s Process
Priya practices Feng Shui from the BTB school lineage, also known as transcendental Feng Shui. This type of Feng Shui is intended to shift the reality of your surroundings to be more aligned with your life goals within the spheres of health, relationships, career, finances, family, spirituality, and many other categories.
As you work with Priya to clarify your goals, she helps uncover core patterns within your space which no longer serve you. She then recommends adjustments to the placement of furniture, artwork, and other accent items to enhance the power of your customized Feng Shui plan. If she feels new purchases may be beneficial, she will provide these suggestions along with recommendations for where to source the items.
TYPES OF CONSULTATIONS
On-Site and Remote Consultations via Zoom
Preliminary
Requirements
sketched or architectural floor plan
Please label all of the elements in the rooms, including swing directions of doors, locations of windows, and current or projected furniture placement. Make sure the entire floor plan is on one page. If working with multiple floors, you may include those floors on extra pages. For remote consultations and off-site floor plan analysis, photos in advance are also required.
bio
Please write a one-page bio including any background information you think Priya may find helpful. Emphasize details from the last 6 to 12 months and the aspects of your life for which you are seeking shifts with Feng Shui.
Red Envelopes
Priya requires a number of red envelopes, always a multiple of 9, that is specific to your consultation. These envelopes can be made of construction paper, bought at a drug store or purchased on Amazon–just search Chinese red envelopes! In each red envelope place a $1 bill. The red envelope exchange is an age-old ritual that is used to bless, activate, and strengthen the customized adjustments given to you during your Feng Shui consultation.
SCHEDULING
Once Priya has received your bio and floor plan and envelopes, she will contact you to schedule a consultation.
